• Access Token: An authentication token necessary for API callouts in HubSpot.
• Refresh Token: The token is used to renew the access token when it expires.
• Expiry time: The time when the access token will expire.

Data confidentiality is maintained through strictly secured storage in Salesforce  in an encrypted format

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data facilitates the seamless integration between HubSpot and external systems. In particular: 

• The Access Token is required as a parameter for authorization in API callouts from HubSpot.
• We securely store this access token and its associated information (refresh token and expiry time) on Salesforce to ensure that the HubSpot account remains authenticated. 
• When there is an API callout requirement, HubSpot sends an API request to Salesforce to retrieve the stored access token securely and provide it to HubSpot. 

3. Data Security Measures

For us, the security of sensitive data is a matter of priority. This refers more specifically to the access and refresh tokens.

Using Salesforce as a backend system, we ensure these tokens are stored and transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption methods.

• Access tokens are stored in Salesforce in an encrypted format so unauthorized access cannot be made. 
• Tokens are only retrieved and used when performing an authorized API callout.

4. Expiration and Refresh Tokens

When the access token expires automatically, we use the refresh token to obtain a new one, all happening securely on the Salesforce side without service interruption.

5. Sharing Data with Third Parties

Unless strictly required for app functionality, as explained in this privacy policy, Pintags would not share your data or tokens with third-party services. We would use your data to facilitate the integration between HubSpot and Salesforce.
