Welcome to the PinTags app, developed by Cloud Analogy. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the PinTags App for HubSpot CRM (“the App”). Any reference to “we,” “our,” or “us” in this document should accordingly be construed as referring to Cloud Analogy. Using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. In case of disagreement, the user is hereby directed not to access the App.

1. Data Storage & Security

We store user details such as access tokens, refresh tokens, and the expiry time on the Salesforce side in an encrypted form. This protects sensitive information from being mismanaged or accessed without authorization.

2. Access Token Management

Access tokens are needed to authorize API callouts within the HubSpot platform. When an access token expires, a new one is automatically fetched through a refresh token. A secure process handles this, ensuring continuous access to HubSpot data without user intervention.

3. Salesforce as an Intermediary

Due to the HubSpot side limitations in the UI extension, there is no direct access to the access token. To address this, we leverage Salesforce as our backend system to store and manage the access token securely. Whenever an API callout needs to be made, HubSpot sends a request to Salesforce. 

After that, Salesforce retrieves the access token associated with the HubSpot account to authorize the action.

4. Integration & Authentication

By using Salesforce as an intermediary that captures the sensitive tokens, this integration allows a seamless link between HubSpot and external systems while ensuring that a strong security policy is also maintained for the use of which access to these tokens is authenticated.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of the PinTags HubSpot App, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data you provide, including the integration of HubSpot and Salesforce credentials. You also agree not to misuse the access tokens or attempt alteration of the security measures implemented by Cloud Analogy.

6. Data Protection

Your data privacy is assured with Cloud Analogy. We will not disclose, rent, or otherwise sell your data to third parties without your consent, except as mandated by the law or as explained in our Privacy Policy. 

7. Limitation of Liability

Cloud Analogy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the PinTags App, including but not limited to data loss, interruption of service, or unauthorized access.

8. Modifications

Cloud Analogy reserves the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions at anytime. Any such modification will be notified via the app or mail. Continuation of use of the App after such a change means acceptance of that change.

9. Termination

You acknowledge that Cloud Analogy reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the PinTags App if you breach these Terms and Conditions. On termination, all access to the App will be ceased immediately.
